Creating a graphical profile, promotional material and advertisement för a children’s theatre production.
Brief
Hår! is a theatre production for children that is based on the musical Hair. It is produced by Teaterhuset Mölndal. My mission was to create a graphical profile and promotional material that conveyed what the play was about and referencing the original play while keeping a childish look.
Process
I worked together with the director and producer to iterate my designs. I came up with a color scheme based on the colors of the costumes and a “logo” that represented the play. From that I illustrated characters and hair for the poster. The poster layout was iterated a few times before the final was decided.

With the graphical profile and the illustration for the poster I created other promotional material; a flyer, a single-fold programme containing information about the actors and production, advertisement for social media as well as a headliner advertisement for buses and trams.
